Deleting your AdBuddy data from Meta

AdBuddy is The Algo Vision's ad tool. When you connect your Facebook account, we keep an access token so the tool can build and run ads on the ad account and Page you choose, plus the names and ids of that ad account and Page. You can remove all of it at any time.

Option 1: remove AdBuddy from Facebook

  1. On Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings.
  2. Open Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
  3. Find AdBuddy (it may show as The Algo Vision), select it and press Remove.
  4. Tick the option to delete posts, videos or events the app made for you if you want those gone as well, then confirm.

Facebook then tells us automatically, and we delete the access token and the ad account and Page choices linked to your Facebook account. You'll get a confirmation code you can check on this page.

Option 2: ask us

Email [email protected] from the email on your account with the subject "AdBuddy data deletion". We delete the Meta data we hold for you within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What stays in Meta

Your ads, campaigns, audiences, results and messages live in your own Meta ad account and Page. Removing AdBuddy doesn't delete them; you manage those in Meta Ads Manager and Meta Business Suite.
