What we collect

DataWhy we hold it
Email address and display name To create your account, sign you in, and send account and course email.
Referral code (av_ref cookie) To credit the affiliate who introduced you. Set across .thealgovision.com so it survives moving between our subdomains.
Game and course progress Scores, levels, collection, quiz answers and lesson completion, so your progress saves and leaderboards work.
Discord user ID Only if you link Discord. Used to grant the roles your purchases and course completions unlock.
Broker connection tokens If you connect a broker, we store the access token you authorise so the platform can show your account and place the orders you ask it to. We do not ask for or store your broker password.
Trading journal and chart settings Your own notes, saved layouts, indicators and strategies.
Basic technical logs IP address, browser type and request times, kept to run the service securely and diagnose faults.

AdBuddy: data from Facebook and Instagram

AdBuddy (at members.thealgovision.com/ads) helps a business run its own Meta ads and answer the people who message it. When a business connects through Facebook Login, we receive only what it grants, and use it only to provide AdBuddy to that business:

DataWhy we hold it
Your Facebook name and user ID, and the access tokens you grant To act on the Page, Instagram account and ad account you choose. Tokens are kept on our own servers, never in the browser, and are deleted when you disconnect or remove the app in your Facebook settings.
Your Pages, Instagram professional account and ad accounts (names and IDs) So you can pick which ones AdBuddy works with.
Your campaigns, ads and their results To build the test campaigns you approve, show you how each ad performs, and pick winners by the rules on your dashboard.
Messages people send to your Page or Instagram account, and comments on your posts and ads To reply with your own approved script, show you every conversation, and alert you when someone wants you personally. We keep the message text, the time, and the ID and name Meta gives us for the sender.
Answers to your lead ad forms To show you each new lead and alert you at once, so you can follow up.

Who else sees it. Meta, because every action goes through Meta's own API. The text of an incoming message is also sent to an AI language model provider (Google Gemini, with Groq as a fallback) only to choose which step of the business's script fits; those providers process it under their own API terms. Nothing else is shared.

Automated replies. Replies are written by the business, sent by software, and marked as partly automated in the first reply. Anyone who asks whether they are talking to a bot is told honestly and handed to a person. Send stop and AdBuddy never messages you again.

How long. Conversations, comments and leads are kept while the business's AdBuddy account is active and deleted within 30 days after it disconnects or asks us to delete them. Delete your data: remove AdBuddy (the "Business Builder" app) under Settings and privacy, Settings, Apps and websites on Facebook, which triggers our data deletion process, or email us. If you messaged a business that uses AdBuddy, you can ask that business, or email us, and we will delete what we hold about you.

What we do not do

Who we share it with

Only the providers needed to run the service, and only the data each one needs:

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and av_ref to attribute affiliate referrals.

Meta Pixel. Our public pages (not your member account, your trading desk or anything behind a sign-in) use the Meta Pixel, a measurement tool from Meta Platforms. It sets the _fbp cookie and tells Meta which page was viewed and when a visitor starts a checkout, signs up, books a call or completes a purchase, together with the purchase amount. We use it to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. When you buy, we may also send Meta the same purchase event from our server, with your email address hashed so it cannot be read. Meta handles this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out of ads based on your activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, and blocking third-party cookies or using a tracker blocker stops the pixel entirely.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open. If you close it, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also withdraw a broker connection at any time from the Account tab of your trading desk (open Connections and choose disconnect, which deletes the stored credentials), or by revoking our access with the broker directly.

To request access or deletion, email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject “Data request”. We respond within 30 days. If you linked Discord or a broker, tell us and we will unlink those too.

Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Security

Access tokens and credentials are held in restricted storage on our own servers, not in the browser and not in public code. Traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach affects you we will tell you.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced to account holders by email.
